By submitting a watch for service or engaging with us via our website, telephone, or in person, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are acting on behalf of another person or entity, you confirm that you have authority to bind them.

3. Service Description

Klai Time provides mechanical watch repair services in Bangkok, Thailand. Our current service catalogue includes:

We work exclusively on mechanical movements. We do not service quartz movements or offer battery replacement. We reserve the right to decline service on any watch at our discretion, for example where the required parts are not obtainable or where the watch poses a handling risk.

5. Payment Terms

All prices are quoted and payable in Thai Baht (฿). Payment is due in full upon collection of the watch. We accept cash and bank transfer. If parts are required beyond those covered by the agreed service fee, these will be quoted separately and your approval obtained before ordering.

The diagnosis fee (฿3,500) is payable regardless of whether you choose to proceed with repair. No refunds are offered once a service has been completed. If a service cannot be completed for reasons attributable to Klai Time, a partial or full refund will be discussed with you directly.

Estimated completion times are provided in good faith but are not binding commitments. Timelines may be affected by parts availability, complexity of the movement, or caseload. We will notify you if a significant delay is anticipated.

No repair work will proceed beyond the agreed scope without your prior approval. We will contact you if findings during the service indicate that additional work or parts are necessary.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, design, and imagery, is the property of Klai Time or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without our written permission. Service documentation provided to you upon completion of a job is for your personal use and relates to your specific watch.

8. Disclaimers

Mechanical watch repair involves inherent risks. While we take all reasonable precautions, we cannot warrant specific outcomes in terms of timekeeping accuracy, particularly for aged or heavily worn movements. We do not warrant that a repaired watch will achieve manufacturer timing specifications where the movement has degraded beyond what service can address.

Our website is provided for informational purposes. We are not responsible for errors, omissions, or the availability of the website at any given time.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under Thai law, our liability to you in connection with any service is limited to the amount paid by you for that service. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental loss.

We are not liable for damage to a watch resulting from pre-existing conditions that were not disclosed at intake, or for faults that arise after the service period and are unrelated to the work performed.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Klai Time against any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your submission of a watch you do not own or are not authorised to submit, or any misrepresentation you make in connection with our services.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate a service agreement before work commences. If you withdraw after diagnosis but before repair work begins, the diagnosis fee applies. If Klai Time declines to proceed for any reason, we will return the watch and refund any amounts paid beyond the applicable diagnosis fee.

12. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us in the first instance at [email protected] to seek an informal resolution. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bangkok, Thailand.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Continued engagement with our services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
